REMEMBER THE MOVIE ‘CARS’? The star was a little red car named ‘Lightning McQueen’ and his sidekick was a tow truck named ‘Mater’. In the movie there was no driver behind the wheel of these cars and yet they were portrayed on the screen as being intelligent.

IMAGINE FOR A MOMENT that a soul is having a dream of being a human being living a life on Earth. That would mean that the whole world and everyone and everything in it would be within that soul. To allow the soul to fully experience the drama of life it would believe the dream to be reality.

IMAGINE THE CONFUSION if we were aware of all living creatures experiences at the same time. The maelstrom of sights, sounds and senses would render any learning experience or enjoyment impossible. Life experiences must be separated and that is precisely what the habitual mind (ego) is for.

A PHYSICAL BODY AND MIND are essential components that allows us to communicate with others while experiencing ourselves in three dimensional time and space. Even when we are contemplating spiritual matters, we are handicapped by our need to use words in thoughts or on paper.

We exist in both the physical and the spiritual worlds simultaneously. The physical world is easy for us to understand. It is tangible, we can reach out and touch it, feel it,  smell it, hear it, see it – It is made of matter and appears to be very real.
