YOU’RE PRETTY LUCKY YOU KNOW. For a start you’re alive. You have plenty to eat and drink. You have a roof over your head. There are countless other things that you should be grateful for but here is something else to think about.
You are on a massive rock orbiting around an even more massive ball of fiery gas at a speed of 108,000kph (58,320 mph). This massive ball of light is speeding around an outer arm of a galaxy at a rate of 792,000 kph (427,680 mph) and the galaxy itself is moving at almost 1 million kph (540,000mph)
Nobody knows what caused the universe to be, why it is here, how life formed out of inert matter, or even how consciousness exists. There are many beliefs as to our origins, of how it all came about and we do wonder if there’s an Intelligence behind it all?
Here is the most amazing fact of all – 13.6 billion years of star formation and destruction, of chemical and biological evolution, of countless miraculous events that led to the formation of planets, moons, and ultimately to conscious beings took place so that YOU could experience this moment, Right Now!
“No matter how good or bad your life is,
wake up each morning and be thankful that you still have one.”
The Universe went through all this so that it could experience itself from your perspective, through your eyes, senses and emotions. You are a miracle. You are on this beautiful blue Planet flying around in outer space, and nobody knows how you came to be here or why you or anything else exists.
Just sit for a moment and realize that everything around you is literally a miracle. We so often forget how lucky we are to experience anything at all. Also realize that you were meant to be here. The world is so much brighter, so much better, because you are in it.
Take a moment to remember that the preciousness of life is something that always brings your state of being to a completely new level. Yes indeed, you sure are a miracle to behold…
Dan’s Quote: “To know the true grandeur of your reality requires
______________an expansion of mind that your human mind is incapable of.”
