The School Of Life

Burleigh Heads

LET’S BE SERIOUS for a moment and look at life from a strictly physical perspective. If we do we will see that the world we live in is just like a school playground full of angry little children running around fighting and arguing with each other… but worse still, killing each other! How insane is that?

In our ignorance and arrogance we regard ourselves as intelligent human beings while passing the buck for man’s failings onto someone else, but ‘Collectively’ we are all to blame for mankind’s juvenile mentality.

This childishness of the average adult is unbelievable… and as we all know, when man’s delusional madness breaks out it leads to monstrous wars and crimes including terrorist attacks on innocence people as we have seen most recently in Paris.

We need to realize that it’s ‘Hurt People that Hurt People’
no matter their background or their ethnicity,

that’s how it gets passed on, generation after generation… ‘Hatred Breeding Hate’.

… And the truth is, we can protest and blame others all we like, or we can meditate and pray to God that this insanity will stop, but we will always be bound by the laws of our physical bodies… and until we fully understand that, man’s self defeating mayhem will continue.

Negativity is contagious. Like a spreading disease, anxiety breeds anxiety. You have seen this many times. Someone gets nervous and everyone else starts to get edgy. Someone makes a sad remark and all faces turn gloomy… And when a radical spouts his venomous ideology to the weak minded, it spreads like a plague.

When we resolve to NOT lose our temper tomorrow, what do we do? We lose our temper tomorrow. A mere resolution is on the level of thought, and a thought comes from our false ego self. Our thinking minds cannot resolve the problems of egoic humanity. One wheel of a car cannot repair another wheel.

We are all ego dominated and ego implies Unawareness. We must Wake Up and realize that Awareness and ego cannot co-exist. A new way of solving mankind’s madness is needed… and that new way depends on you personally. The first step is to change yourself for the better…

Dan’s Quote: “It is lack of love for ourselves that inhibits our compassion towards others.”
