We Are Very Special

Mind WorX1

HUMAN BEINGS are truly destined for something very special – a place in the universe that is reserved just for us, but we have to earn our place first. In the past there was no great need, for we had other more basic things to learn, like how to survive, but not now. Now is the time of our reckoning.

We must become honest with ourselves and admit that all of our gallant attempts to rid the world of selfishness, greed, violence, terrorism, physical and sexual abuse, has done absolutely nothing to alleviate those problems. Why? Because we are looking in the wrong place.

We believe that it is other people who commit those crimes, not us. But the truth is, we are all us. If we can see any negativity at all out there in the world, then we must have that same negativity within us.

The world we feel inside is the world we see outside. We have to be honest and brave enough to look inside our own mind and not out there, and realize our problems and the problems of the world lie within us.

We must cast aside our selfishness, greed and irritability and learn to acquire more positive feelings like loving compassion and understanding. This must be done without thought of reward like, ‘if I do that I will become more spiritual’ or, ‘people will look up to me as being a better person than them’.

For us as human beings, the time has come. If we fail to take heed of our own inner voice, we risk self extinction and that will mean starting all over again. That would be a shame, for we as a species have put in a lot of  great effort and done a lot of things right, as well as wrong.

We are very privileged to have been given this gift of  life, so why waste it?  We, as the most intelligent creature on this planet are destined to play a vital role in the ever unfolding story of the universe. We need to be ready…
