Black Holes

MULTI DIMENSIONS…

black holes1

THEORETICALLY, black holes are everywhere in our universe with the more massive black holes at the centre of each galaxy, including our own Milky Way. Science hypothesizes that the black hole at the centre of our galaxy is some 4 million times more massive than our sun.

With an open mind, let’s use our imagination to peer into the depths of a black hole. From the point of singularity at the bottom, we mentally look up the side of the black hole towards the surface, which in our case is our three dimensional space, where everything has a height, width and depth.

Now let’s surmise that somewhere above the bottom point, there is a slot that contains a One Dimensional Universe where everything has either a height, a width or a depth. Then, what if further up the vortex, we come to a slot that contains a Two Dimensional Universe, where everything has a combination of two of either height, width or depth.

Each dimension is as complete and self-contained as our universe is, with its own galaxies, stars and planets populated by either one or two dimensional living creatures.

The inhabitants of a one dimensional world would believe that their universe was all there is and would be completely unaware of the two dimensionals and us three dimensionals above them. They would presume that the black hole’s surface is in their universe. Any scientific theories that they used to try and understand black holes would be restricted to one dimensional thinking.

The inhabitants of a two dimensional world would believe that their universe was all there is and would be completely unaware of the one dimensionals below them and us three dimensionals above them. They would presume that the black hole’s surface is in their universe. Any scientific theories that they used to try and understand black holes would be restricted to two dimensional thinking.

The inhabitants of our three dimensional world believe that our universe is all there is and are completely unaware of the one and two dimensionals below us. We presume that the black hole’s surface is in our universe. All of our scientific theories that attempt to explain a black hole are restricted to three dimensional thinking. Are but!… It does not end there…

Dan’s Quote: “Our universe is but one dimension in a multi-dimensional universe.”
