An Inside Story 92

TWO WORLDS 39…

WORDS need time and space. All physical and mental activities in a three dimensional universe are reliant on there being a space between objects whether material or mental, a space that takes time to traverse or elapse. For instance, there is a space between the words in this sentence and it takes time to read or hear that set of words.

In a universe other than three dimensions, say a one or two, or four or five, there would be a completely different set of laws. These universes would behave in ways that would be impossible for us three dimensional beings to comprehend – and so would a world with no dimensions at all – such as the spiritual realm.

And yet, a part of us does understand the spiritual world very well. Our nonphysical self is very comfortable in this world, for it is our true and familiar home where we belong – a world that in reality, we have never left – except in our dreams.

So how do we communicate in the spiritual world? There is no need. Why? There is no ‘We’ – there is only One. There is no one else. There can’t be anyone else. For that to be possible, the spiritual world would need to have dimensions, time and space, that would allow separation and individuality – like the physical world, but it hasn’t.

It is infinite. It has no boundaries or restrictions. Within it our soul is omnipresent – we are everywhere – There is not a place where we are not, for there is not another place to be. We have no need to communicate with our self. We are Universal Spirit – We are God – who has forgotten the truth temporarily while we are dreaming of being here, inhabiting a physical body in this world.

While we are experiencing physical life, words are necessary to enable us to communicate, understand and survive in our environment. We also need a body and an human mind for an individual, conscious experience of life.

These are all essential, finite components of this physical world, that allows us to communicate with others while experiencing ourselves in three dimensional time and space…

_____________by our need to use words in thoughts or on paper.”- DJB
