Mind WorX – Living

… AND DYING

ANXIETY and fear that is experienced when we are confronted with the prospect of the death of ourselves or others is relieved somewhat in a quotation by ‘Abraham’ – that I have included in some of my earlier posts, but because of its importance to our mind’s evolutionary progress, is repeated here.

Abraham have been described as a name – a symbol – a feeling – a group consciousness from the non-physical dimension. They have also said, “We are that which you are. You are the leading edge of that which we are. We are that which is at the heart of all religions.”

Here once again is Abraham’s explanation of death….

“We are not wanting to be insensitive to what so many of you are feeling, but we are very much wanting you to put this death thing in the proper perspective: You are all going to die! Except that there is no death. You’re all going to make your transition into Non-Physical.

It is time to stop making your transition into Non-Physical sound like a subject that is uncomfortable and begin acknowledging that it is something that happens to everyone. This death thing is so misunderstood that you use it to torture yourself never-endingly and just absolutely unnecessarily.

There are those who feel such fulfilment of life and such Connection to Source Energy, who understand that there is no separation between what is physical and Non-Physical; who understand that there is not even a lapse in consciousness, that “death” is a matter of closing one’s eyes in this dimension and literally opening one’s eyes in the other dimension.

And that, truly, is how all death is, no matter how it looks, up to that point. The re-emergence into Source Energy is always a delightful thing.”

By being brave enough to look death in the face and challenge its validity brings about the startling revelation that death is only an illusion of the ego, it then follows that the ego must also be an illusion. They are partners in crime of the delusion of mind. This is why understanding the nature of death is so important to us, for it initiates a chain reaction of understanding.

Neither of them exists, except in our belief system – and where is our belief system? – In the egos library of the past – which in reality does not exist either – and although it is the ego that is terrified of dying, it uses the threat and fear of death as a weapon to keep us in mental prison.

At the moment we think we are our name and body (the imaginary self that is doing all the damage) and it takes a lot of courage to realize and accept the fact that we are not. We have to dare to trust in something we don’t as yet know. Our ego self will fight it all the way for it does not want us to find out the truth.

To have the trust to step off the precipice of the known into the chasm of the unknown is a difficult step to take. We are frightened that if we do give up the belief that we are our name and body, we will cease to exist. That is not so but there is no way to prove that without each of us taking that step individually.

Apprehension is understandable as we have identified with our name and body all our lives, except when we were very small babies, when for a short time, we did know the truth. This is why the world is so negative.

We create the world we live in and we have not got the collective trust or guts to discard the ego and reveal our true nature – just in case it is not there. Collective human trust and guts begins with each one of us, individually. The answer is within our mind.

How can we gather up enough courage to leap into the unknown?
